The story follows two young men, Lionel ( Mescal) and David ( O’Connor), who, during the WWI period, set out to record the lives, voices and music of their countrymen. The site says that the film will be directed by Oliver Hermanus, and adapted by Ben Shattuck from his own Pushcart Prize-winning short story of the same name. The two stars are set to star in The History of Sound, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Josh O'Connor and Paul Mescal are teaming up for a brand new movie.
